Very happy with this phone holder. I have had many & this one is the best. Love the automatic closing function & the touch sensitive release button. Suction cup is strong, the unit with phone in place doesn't wobble around too much over bumps & cradle is able to adjust to be positioned to suit the dash. Only the cable should be longer.
I purchased this unit for my boat. I plugged it into the USB port, suctioned it to the dash and inserted my phone. Thing works like a charm. Suction has maintained, the cradle, when you place your phone into the cradle will all close automatically. Starts charging without plugging the phone into USB power. What not to love? I?ll update this as I use the unit throughout the summer. If it maintains its integrity I?ll let you know. If it fails miserably, I?ll let you know that as well.
This phone holder/wireless charger works great. It sticks to my dashboard, securely grips my phones, and charges them. It works with both my Samsung S10 in an Otterbox and LG V60 in a case as well. The only suggested improvement would be for additional flexibility for the base which may allow additional mounting locations.
Ive had this charger/holder for almost a month now and loving it. So much so that I bought each member of the family one for Christmas!Pros:Automatic closing - I just place the phone on the charger and the arms automatically close to secure the phone.Wireless charging - I was getting tired of having to plug/unplug the cord each time I used the holder. Now the magnetic charger charges it wirelessly.Fast charging - 5w-10w fast charging. I needed a longer cable for my vehicle (Suburban) and i got the 3.0 USB to C cable, Its a thicker cable than others. This might be helping with the fast charging.Stable - Great adhesion or suction on the holder. My dash is textured but the holder still works great. (I did prep the surface with an alcohol wipe before installation).Cons:Short cable ?The included cable was a little short for my application. It 3 feet, but you use that up fast when youre trying to route it and be hidden.All in all, a great holder and charger. Would (and have) recommend to friends.
I have to say I am quite impressed with this charger. This is one of the nicest I have used. My truck is literally my office most days and this guy keeps my phone charged and accessible. As far as charging is concerned it has no issues, I can use it all day long for data signal and navigation as well as calls and it stays charged. I feel like it is important to note however, that while the device does come with a USB C cable, it does not come with the actual power supply. So the charge speed is going to be dependent on what you plug it into as well.The thing that I found most impressive was how versatile it was, in terms of being able to adjust the holder to put the phone exactly where you need it. I have a column shift in my truck, which interferes with jus about any where you would want to mount most chargers. But I was able to adjust the arm on this device so that my phone is easily accessible and visible without interfering with the gear selector or obstructing my vision of the road.I did have some concern initially that , especially with the arm extended, that the phone would bounce a lot and either fall out of the charger or make the entire charger fall off the dash. That has not been an issue at all, it is actually more stable than my other devices and other chargers I have used.
