Update a month later: I liked this so well, I just bought another one so I can read on my Kindle AND use the tablet to play music and have the screen visible to "thumb up or down" rather than have it lying on the table. Sometimes I put my phone on there to video chat, even though I bought a phone sized one by the same manufacturer. This one works so well for everything. And it really does hold up even a hard cover book - not ON it, of course, but resting against the front. Lightweight but very sturdy and seems very well made. I definitely recommend this (and have!) especially for seniors like me with issues holding things, like a book or tablet.___________________________________________I needed to replace my old pillow type tablet holder and went with this one because it seemed simple, easy to clean and no-nonsense. It is all those things and just works perfectly for my Kindle paper white and 10" Fire tablet - although Ive really only used it with the Kindle so far beyond putting the tablet on the stand and going "Great - works fine with this too". I have fibromyalgia and cannot sit holding even the ultra light Kindle. Too painful. This is going to be a great help, I can tell. The old one was a little too low and made me hold my head at an odd angle. And it even seems to hold a read, hardcover book propped up against it. Whats not to love? And the price was just right too.
